Mark Cinelli CATZ Director of Performance

This summer, former San Diego Padres Strength and Conditioning Coach, and current CATZ Performance Director Mark Cinelli will be leading a baseball-training program for high school players looking to improve their game and overall athleticism. The workouts will focus on the athletes’ five tools with exercises that increase agility, flexibility, and strength.

Due to the new BBCOR bats at the high school and college levels, and the growing emphasis on athleticism in baseball, off-season workout routines have become crucial to a player’s development.  Both pitchers and position players will benefit greatly from our unique workouts and stretches designed to help both arm flexibility and explosive rotational movements.  In addition Mark will provide an off-season throwing program that will complement the workout regimen and our experienced Physical Therapy staff will be accessible for any injury prevention, recovery, or shoulder strengthening information.
